How I make one video with AI.
This is how I make every video. I am building my own app for it, Frank Studio. You do not need the app. Copy each ask into Claude and change the words in [brackets].
Idea
Pick one idea people already want. I check before I put in a day of work.
I make YouTube videos for [who you make videos for]. Here are my ideas: [list 3 to 5 ideas]. Which one do people want most? Show me 3 videos like it that did well, and say why. Then pick one idea for me.
Script
Claude writes the first draft. I make it sound like me. The first 30 seconds matter most.
Write a script for a [8] minute video about [your idea]. Talk like me: short lines and plain words. Here is how I talk: [paste 3 things you said or wrote]. Split it into parts. Show the result in the first 10 seconds.
Read my first 30 seconds. Would a new viewer stay? Mark the weak lines and fix them.
Title and thumbnails
The title and the picture get the click. I make 3 thumbnails and pick 1.
Give me 10 titles for this video. Put the result in the first 6 words. Keep each one under 60 letters. Pick the best 3 and say why.
A good thumbnail: your face, 2 to 4 big words, and one box with the key word.
Make the pieces
Every card, picture and clip gets made before I film. Then filming is easy.
Read my script. List every spot where a picture, a card or a short clip would help. For each one, say what it shows in 5 words or less.
AI pictures and clips cost credits. Ask for the cost first. Make only what you need.
Ready to film
One short list I can read while I film, and one simple whiteboard.
Turn my script into a list I can read while I film. One line per part. Big, short words. Then add a check list: mic on, light on, camera on, quiet room.
Film
This step is mine. I film one part at a time. If I trip on a line, I just say it again.
Check your mic first. Bad sound is the one thing you can not fix later.
Quick cut
Claude reads the transcript and finds the takes to keep. I only check its work.
Here is my transcript: [paste it]. Mark every line I said twice, and keep the last good one. Mark long stops and "um" parts. Give me a list of cuts with their times.
Edit
Each piece goes in at the right second. Captions are big, 2 to 4 words at a time.
Here are my script lines with their times: [paste them]. Here are my pieces: [list them]. Tell me which piece goes at which time.
Keep the music soft. Your voice is always louder.
Upload
I upload it as Private first, watch it one more time, then make it public.
Write my YouTube description. The first 2 lines say what the video gives. Add chapters from these times: [paste times]. Add 10 search words.
Shorts
One long video gives me a few Shorts. Each one points back to the long video.
Find 3 parts of this transcript that make sense on their own, 30 to 50 seconds each. Each one needs a strong first line. Give me the start and end times.
Look back
At 1, 3, 7 and 28 days, I read my real numbers. Then I change one thing.
Here are my numbers for this video: [views, click rate, how long people watched]. Pick ONE thing to change in my next video, and say why.
Want to see me do it?
In my Skool group I show how I make each video: the script, every ask, and what went wrong. Ask me anything there. $47 a month while it is new.
