My 4 step AI ad.

One photo. Four steps. About one hour. Making ads is my job, and I had none for myself. So I made one with AI. Every prompt is here. Change the words in [brackets] to fit you.

A good trick: I do not write prompts by hand. I ask Claude to write them for me. Each step has that ask, too.

1

Picture

Start with one real photo. Daylight. Face or product clear. Nothing blurry. A phone photo is fine.

Ask Claude first (paste your photo in)
Look at this photo of [me / my product]. Write 3 short image prompts to make it a clean, bright ad shot. Keep the real face. Simple background. No fake text. No fake logos.
Or paste this into the image tool
Same person as the photo. Clean bright studio light. Simple gray background. Real face, no text, no logos. Wide shot for a video ad.

Rule 1: keep it true. Same face. Same person. Just better light.

Video

A still photo gets scrolled past. It has to move. But only a little.

Ask Claude for the motion
Write one motion prompt for a 5 second ad shot of this photo of [me / my product]. Slow push in. Soft light. Small head turn to camera. Nothing else moves.
Or paste this into the video tool
Slow camera push in. Soft warm light. The person turns their head a little and looks at the camera. Nothing else moves. 5 seconds.
  • One move per shot. Slow is better.
  • Keep it 4 to 6 seconds.
  • The face or product stays sharp. If it melts, try again.

Voice

Rule 2: three lines. What it is. Who it is for. What to do. That is the whole script.

Ask Claude for the words
Write a 3 line ad script for [my business]. Line 1: what I do. Line 2: who it is for. Line 3: what to do next: [your link or phone]. 3rd grade words. Under 25 words total.

My 3 lines, as an example: I make ads with AI. For small shops with no ads. Book 15 minutes.

I used a clone of my own voice, because the ad is about me. To make yours, record about 1 minute of you talking, then make an Instant Voice Clone in ElevenLabs. Only clone your own voice.

Music

Most first AI ads look fake. Music is the fix. The music sets the mood, and the mood makes it feel real. I went to school for music, so I make my own. You do not have to.

  • Start the music under line 1.
  • Keep it soft. The voice is always louder.
  • Clean and calm beats loud and busy.
  • End the song when the ad ends.

Where to get music: make it yourself, or ask a friend who makes beats. The YouTube Audio Library is free (check each song's rules). AI music only on a plan that lets you use the song in ads.

5

Stack it, then test it

Video on the bottom. Voice on top. Music under the voice. Put your link on the screen at the end, big. Any editor works: DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or ask Claude Code to stack the files for you.

The ad test. Check every box before you post.

  • You can read it on a phone in 1 second.
  • It says what you sell in the first 3 seconds.
  • The face or product looks real, not melted.
  • The voice is louder than the music.
  • Your link or phone is on the screen.
  • You turned on the AI label where you post it.
6

Run it small

An ad that sits in a folder does nothing. Put it to work.

  • Start with one ad and a small daily budget.
  • Wait 7 days before you judge it.
  • Then change one thing and try again.

I run mine on Facebook and Instagram with Meta Ads Manager.

In my Skool group I show each build: every ask, and what went wrong. Ask me anything there. $47 a month while it is new.
